Why buy our wheels?
1.) We make a stainless steel bushing to go between the bearings in our wheels that use two bearings. Some companies don't use any bushing.
WITHOUT THE BUSHING BETWEEN THE BEARINGS IN THE WHEELS THE LOAD IN THE BEARINGS CAN BE MORE THAN TEN TIMES THE LOAD WITHOUT THE BUSHING. THIS IS BECAUSE WHEN THE WHEEL ASSEMBLY IS TIGHTENED DURING INSTALLATION IT PUSHES THE BEARING INNER RACES AXIALLY INWARD AND WITH THE BUSHING, THE LOAD JUST COMPRESSES THE INNER RACES HARMLESSLY AGAINST THE BUSHING. HOWEVER, WITHOUT THE BUSHING, THE LOAD CAUSES A VERY HIGH AXIAL PRE-LOAD ON THE BALL BEARINGS BETWEEN THE INNER AND OUTER RACES THAT THE BEARING WAS NOT DESIGNED FOR (THESE ARE RADIAL LOAD BEARINGS), AND THE BEARINGS WILL NOT LAST NEARLY AS LONG. MOST OF THE OLDER STYLE WHEELS USED A STAMPED BEARING WITH EXTENDED INNER RACES WITH NO NEED FOR A BUSHING, BUT THEY WERE INFERIOR AND ARE NOT AVAILABLE.
WE INSTALL CUSTOM STAINLESS STEEL BUSHINGS ON ALL OF OUR DOUBLE BEARING WHEELS THAT TIGHTEN FOR INSTALLATION.

2.) All of our wheels are made from the same excellent engineering plastic that Total Gym uses in their finest commercial gyms, but not their retail gyms. We also do not use inferior hard rubber material like some companies use. On smooth rails our wheels will last almost forever because they are not overstressed and they do not take a permanent set over time like rubber can.
3.) We use high quality double shielded machined bearings (sealed on both sides to keep the grease inside)
4.) All of our wheels are made on one of our two precision Hardinge (an American Company) CNC Lathes in Tennessee for consistent dimensions and excellent finish and quality.
5.) We have increased our warrantee on material and workmanship to 7 years because we have had no defects in over 30,000 wheels shipped.
6.) We pay attention to detail, quality, and customer service.

We are not Total Gym
Fitness, LLC®, the makers of the excellent Total Gym®
line of exercise equipment. Our parts are very high quality
after-market replacements and are not official or endorsed
by Total Gym Fitness, LLC®
Improved Roller Wheels If you own a Total Gym® 2000 or 3000 you may
have experienced problems with the roller wheels or the bearings,
which require replacement. The roller wheels can become cratered
or break entirely, and it may be difficult to replace these
parts through the manufacturer (and the manufacturer's parts
would have the same problems.) We can replace your broken
or damaged roller wheels with improved wheels which we have
specially designed not only as replacement parts, but as upgraded,
improved parts. The new roller wheels are machined from solid
stock and will roll more smoothly, handle more weight without
breaking or cratering, last longer, and may never need replacement.
The roller wheels fit on both the upper and lower wheel assemblies.

Why replace your
roller wheels? The
original roller wheel is donut shaped. The contact with the
rail is at a point which supports the total load for that
wheel. The result is a very high stress at that point, which
increases the wear and shortens the life of the wheel. In
addition, for heavier people, the weight concentrated on the
small contact area exceeds the strength of the material. The
wheel forms craters (see example below) as the material
breaks down

Broken wheel
Cratering
Our specially designed replacement roller wheel is a round
cylinder shape, like a car tire. The resulting line contact
(instead of point contact) can support much more weight without
over-stressing the material, and the new wheel will last much
longer.
Guide Roller (Guide Wheel) If your guide wheels are damaged or wobbling excessively
you need to replace them before the main rollers are damaged.
Our improved guide roller wheels are solid (not ribbed) for
smoother rolling when side contact is made. Our guide roller
wheels are machined from solid stock.
Bearings
If your bearings are squeaking, grinding, rattling, or just
loose, they need to be replaced before damage to the roller
wheel occurs. Our replacement bearings are sealed on both sides.
Axle Bolts
Our axle bolts fit the Total Gym® 2000 and 3000 and are
machined from tool steel, hardened and tempered for maximum
strength. They are black oxide plated for corrosion protection.
The crown nut, lock nut and washers are made of stainless
steel. These axles are much stronger than the original axle
bolts. If it bends or breaks in normal use, we will replace it.
Hitch Pins
We stopped carrying the stainless steel replacement hitch pins for the Total Gym® 2000 and 3000 because the 1/4" diameter of the pin is not strong enough for the loads. See the "UltraPin II" below to see our very strong and easier to use replacement for the hitch pins for the Total Gym® 2000 and 3000.
New Hitch Pin on Assembly
UltraPin II
This is a single, long pin that replaces both of the original
hitch pins for the "Foot Holder/Pull UP Bar Attachment"
for the 2000 and 3000 models. It is made from tool steel,
hardened and tempered for extreme strength. This unique design
is much stronger and easy to use. Customers have reported the additional benefit that they can install and uninstall the Foot Holder/Pull Up Attachment much quicker and easier with the UltraPin II.
Cables Our
cables are more fatigue resistant and and will not break as
easily as the original cables. Our cables are coated with
tough nylon instead of vinyl, and the cable is internally
lubricated. These cables have eyelets at the ends where they
attach to the handles. Our eyelets are sized so they thread
through the pulleys without needing to disassemble the pulleys.
The eyelets and stops are made of high grade 316 stainless
steel.
The 2000/3000 cable also fits some of the older 1000, 1500
and EX machines that have been updated to the newer style
handle.

Foot Harness These
foot harnesses are very strong and secure and use lots of
Velcro instead of the clumsy buckle to assure a snug fit and
quick, easy use. The webbing is two inches wide and the D-rings
are made of stainless steel. These will fit all Total
Gym® models with a leg pulley system.

BEFORE YOU ORDER HUCK PRODUCTS REPLACEMENT WHEELS FOR TOTAL GYM®2000/3000 IMPORTANT NOTE: A small percentage of the Total Gyms® sold (we believe only some of the infomercials units) had a different style wheel. Please check your wheels before ordering. To determine if you have the infomercial wheels, ignore the wheel color, but notice if the bearing/bushing protrudes about 1/4" outside the wheel.
If your bearing is completely inside the wheel, you do not have the infomercial wheel and you can order the wheels below for the Total Gym® 2000 and 3000 . If you do have the infomercial wheels, your axles and hollow shafts will not fit our wheels, but we have an XL upgrade conversion Kit available to convert your wheel assemblies to our new super strong XL replacement wheels which are much stronger than even the original XL wheels. The kits come with and without axles. If you have the infomercial wheels with the protruding bearing/bushing, you will need a kit with the axles since your axles will not fit. The kits are shown below (keep scrolling down).
Most of the Total Gym® systems are as pictured above as Original Wheels on Assembly and our Roller Wheels fit perfectly and are a very significant upgrade.
