We are not Total Gym
Fitness, LLC®, the makers of the excellent Total Gym®
line of exercise equipment. Our parts are very high quality
after-market replacements and are not official or endorsed
by Total Gym Fitness, LLC®
Cables(now with mil. spec. cable) Our
cables are more fatigue resistant and and will not break as
easily as the original cables. Our cables are coated with
tough nylon instead of vinyl, and the cable is internally
lubricated. These cables have eyelets or stops at the ends
where they attach to the handles. The eyelets and stops are made of high grade
316 stainless steel.
The Total Gym® Cable for Metal Handles fits any Total Gym® with metal handles. (We have premium stainless steel handles to fit any model Total Gym® available for upgrading below.)
All cables eventually fatigue and break from bending around
the pulleys. They can break suddenly and have caused some
of our customers to fall off the glideboard. Usually there
is some visual indication that the cable is nearing the end
of its life. There may be cracking of the vinyl or even some
broken wires. It can be unsafe to operate with a old cable.
Our cables are higher quality than the original cables and will last longer under the same conditions.

Total Gym® Cable for Metal Handles has eyelets
We
also have the cable for the Total Gym® models with the plastic handles. These cables come
with a tool for separating the cable from the handles. Instructions
are included. You may wish to consider purchasing our upgrade stainless steel handles (below) with cable for metal handles (above) since the plastic handles will not last forever.

Premium Stainless Steel Replacement Handles Our premium replacement handles are made from stainless steel, engineering plastic and top quality vinyl grips. They are designed for comfort and durability. They are compatible with the cables for metal handles with the eyelets and works on any model of Total Gym®. This makes an excellent upgrade from the plastic handles which have a limited life or metal handles if the original grip material is disintegrating. Our grip material will last a very long time.
