Improved Roller Wheels
If you own a Total Gym® 2000 or 3000 you may have experienced problems with the roller wheels or the bearings, which require replacement. The roller wheels can become cratered or break entirely, and it may be difficult to replace these parts through the manufacturer (and the manufacturer's parts would have the same problems.) We can replace your broken or damaged roller wheels with improved wheels which we have specially designed not only as replacement parts, but as upgraded, improved parts. The new roller wheels are machined from solid stock and will roll more smoothly, handle more weight without breaking or cratering, last longer, and may never need replacement. The roller wheels fit on both the upper and lower wheel assemblies.

Why replace your roller wheels?
The original roller wheel is donut shaped. The contact with the rail is at a point which supports the total load for that wheel. The result is a very high stress at that point, which increases the wear and shortens the life of the wheel. In addition, for heavier people, the weight concentrated on the small contact area exceeds the strength of the material. The wheel forms craters (see example below) as the material breaks down

Our specially designed replacement roller wheel is a round cylinder shape, like a car tire. The resulting line contact (instead of point contact) can support much more weight without over-stressing the material, and the new wheel will last much longer.

Axle Bolts
Our axle bolts fit the Total Gym® 2000 and 3000 and are machined from tool steel, hardened and tempered for maximum strength. They are black oxide plated for corrosion protection. The crown nut, lock nut and washers are made of stainless steel. These axles are much stronger than the original axle bolts.

Hitch Pins
These are the pins that hold in the "Foot Holder/Pull Up Bar Attachment" or "Wing Attachment" for the Total Gym® 1000/1500/EX. If your pins are bending and difficult to insert or lost, you can replace them with our very high quality Stainless Steel pins that are more resistant to bending. The 1/4" pins used in the Total Gym® 2000 and 3000 are not strong enough even in stainless steel, so we have designed the UltraPin II for those models, see below.

UltraPin II
This is a single, long pin that replaces both of the original hitch pins for the "Foot Holder/Pull UP Bar Attachment" for the 2000 and 3000 models. It is made from tool steel, hardened and tempered for extreme strength. This unique design is much stronger and easy to use.

Cables
Our cables are more fatigue resistant and and will not break as easily as the original cables. Our cables are coated with tough nylon instead of vinyl, and the cable is internally lubricated. These cables have eyelets at the ends where they attach to the handles. Our eyelets are sized so they thread through the pulleys without needing to disassemble the pulleys. The eyelets and stops are made of high grade 316 stainless steel.

The Cable for Metal Handles fits most 2000s and 3000s and also fits some of the older 1000, 1500 and EX machines that have been updated to the newer style handle.

We also have the Cables for the Plastic Handles that fit most of the original Total Gym® 1000/1500/EX and some early Total Gym® 2000s with the plastic handles. These cables come with a tool for separating the cable from the handles. Instructions are included.

Stainless Steel Replacement Handles
Our upgraded replacement handles are made from stainless steel, engineering plastic and premium vinyl grips. They are designed for comfort and durability. They are compatible with the cables for metal handles. This makes an excellent upgrade from the plastic handles which have a limited life.

Foot Harness
These foot harnesses are very strong and secure and use lots of Velcro instead of the clumsy buckle to assure a snug fit and quick, easy use. The webbing is two inches wide and the D-rings are made of stainless steel. These will fit a variety of Total Gym® models including the 1000, 1500, 2000, 3000, and EX models.

Pulley and Rope
This is a heavy duty upgrade to the original pulley and rope that comes with the Total Gym®. This pulley and rope fits the Total Gym® 1000, 1500, EX, 2000 and 3000.
